Morning

Barcelona

So this is the first trip since I arrived to Spain Madrid, a national trip to Barcelona. I decided to go after classes, so took the train yesterday, and arrived at night. I ate some fried chicken and it was nice. The 27th is an very eventful day through.

Montjuïc Castle and Naval Museum

The castle provide a really nice costal views even including the cargo. On the other side i can see the hills and some costal guns as well. The wind at the roof is nice. For the museum I really liked how they exhibt all teh different type of vehicles. I recall the first segment is about the slave trade and how horrific it is. I enjoyed this museum as it is less naval warfare compared to some of the others that I have visited, and have more civilian vessels.

Casa Batlló

To be honest I just visited because of google, I visited it at night to fit as much as possible in my schedule. In my opinion I can see how unique the building is. The night lights really makes the place a little surreal.

La Mercè Parade

So as it turns out via sheer chance I have managed to arrive on the day of the La Merce, so I was mostly confused and just vibing as I watch firecrackers across the streets. I mostly just enjoyed the atmoshpere, I took part in a few as well mimicing the locals. I was a little worried it isn’t allowed but overall it was really exciting partipating in another nation festival. In fact I stayed for a lto of the night that the enxt day I couldn’t get up.
