Morning
Casa Milà
So in contrast to the nighttime one this one has a guide, and it changed the experience signifciantly. Starting with an explaitnion of what various facilities were used for and the thought process. I recall it was quite humorous as we stand on the roof and it appears to be a suitable place to play, only to be informed that back then nobody is here except the servants because the chimmey exhaust smoke over here. Even through the design is not the most functional it is full of character and looks intresting to live in.
There is a nice Arc through, with a view of Gaudi masterpiece, the Sagrada Familia which is his masterpiece. For a moment I felt that I am walking through Gaudi and his intentions.
Weird Museum
So this was just a time filler, but htis is actually where I learnt of the Caganer. This was the most suprising thing, and more suprising is nobody knows why this is a tradition. After this I paid more attention and saw Caganer of popular figures as well. Goodness I wonder if my home nation can entertain this without suing people.
Afternoon
Sagrada Família
Being given the title of a great work and one of the most popular it truely does not dissapoint. There is a significant difference compared to other cathedrals of even Vatican city, which is that the Sagrada Familia focus more on using space and lighting to do the talking. The walls itself tells an history while it is spacious inside, I sat down for 20 or so minutes just admiring and listening to the audio guides of blue stained glass. For my ticket I have the privillage to climb the Nativity facade. I can tell a lot of work went into the facades and the story, I recall one of the entrance actually tells the story of Jesus crufciication. I would have not have realized this at a glance! Truely this is an amazing masterpiece and I cannot wait to see how it ends up.
