Segovia

In this day trip I went to Segovia due to the promises of a beautiful castle and it did not disappoint. The Alcázar de Segovia looks like a Disney castle.

The first thing I notice is that a bus is needed to get to town, no way around it. I saw a lot of bulls though and I do not feel like contending with them for field walking privilege.

I saw the Alcázar de Segovia from a distance away and it looks like it is straight out of a fantasy novel. A castle with cones, at a cliffside with trees all around it. Inside the castle also has a nice view, I was able to view the town of Segovia as well as the endless plains of yellow and the Cathedral.

The standout has to be the artillery school exhibit, and how they learn to operate artillery in the past. I also noted that the castle style is much different from what I had seen so far.

What was more surprising was the Aqueduct, it was just lying around like it belongs. I was truly impressed by the great structure and just how natural it is for people to live their life around it.

After that there isn’t a lot to do so I went back to the station and relaxed.
