Overview

Fuenlabrada

So during the last few days, I was able to get used to things a little. My roommate was a nice fellow, who offers to help. He introduced me to Mercandona, there is a park nearby as well. The park is pretty spacious.

The lack of nearby options also imply I will be cooking, I was able to browse a wide variety of meat. I was most suprised by the bread segment as well as the Jamon segment. It is a shame I can’t buy one of those.

Additionally the meat shows a wide variety, I still recall that they mentioned how are the chicken fed, such as with corn or with other things. I think I bought a wide variety to try out. I also got the frozen spanish omlette, those things are the best. I think I prefer No Onion.

I think the first thing I realize is the sheer amount of dog poop just off the street, it isnt on the street but is beside it. Everything is kinda far away, at about 10 minutes away.

Travelling around

I think the train ride is really long…relative to what I am used to. The closest point of interest is a 10 minute walk, the nearest KFC is almost 20 minutes away. If I fall sick I am kinda screwed(foreshadowing). The trip to my school is almost an hour while a trip to Madrid Central is around 2 hours. Buses comes every 30 minutes so I have gotten pretty good at waiting.

Madrid Central

Now I did visit Madrid central and the palace, it was pretty nice. I learnt a bit about Spain and the 3 kingdom here, through I need to research more to appericate the things I am seeing. I visited the palace of madrid and felt that it gave me a good history on how did things come about.
