Ikoma Sanjo Amusement Park

Intent

An amusement park on the hill was something I was curious about, the main drive is curosity.

Experience

I went up via a train, the amusement park is free to visit. Payment is only for specific rides. I went to the flying plane as well as the “White House”. Afterwards I climbed down the hill and walked back to the train.

Memory

The trains are very cute and have a nice design. The flying plane is great because I was able to see both Nara and Osaka from a high overview. Additionally the White house depicted an intresting version of America, the building is tilted by a few degrees. The founding myth was shown as a bridge, then followed by a steam train. Notably the train noise is clearly a vaccum cleaner. At the end, lego was used to depict the moon landing.

Insight

Overall the entire place was really enjoyable despite the low budget vibe. Some of the creative solutions are something to inspire me. In the future I learn how the budget does not determine the quality.

Nara, Deer Park

Intent

The Nara Park are kinda popular and I heard of them before.

Experience

There are indeed, many deers. I bought some deer biscuit but a single deer forcefully ripped it from my fingers. Additionally I visited the nearby shrines, and sat down on a bench and watch the deers just laze around.

Memory

The sheer number of deers is certainly something to remember, through being robbed by a deer was not expected. Sitting on the bench was calming and relaxing.

Insight

I guess I learnt how scary wild animals can be, and also how calming is it to do nothing. I wish to come back to stare at the deers in the future.
